About me
For me, art begins where what is visible at first glance ends.
Born in Zurich, I am a self-taught artist. From an early age, I was fascinated by Symbolism and Surrealism; later, Francis Bacon and especially Michael Andrews shaped my artistic vision. My studies in literature and my work as a writer have also profoundly influenced my art.
My paintings exist at the threshold between abstraction and reality. Light, reflections, shadows and colour transform them according to the time of day and the viewer’s perspective. Forms remain deliberately ambiguous: a wave may become an angel, a rock a human face.
I work mainly in acrylic, often combining paint with elements made of wood or clay. With Atelier Vertesi, I now devote myself fully to the joy of creating and sharing my artistic world..
